The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community (OVCCA) has a newly appointed assistant to the vice chancellor (AVC), as well as heads of the Business Affairs Office (BAO) and UPLB Housing Office (UHO).
Dr. Roberto G. Visco assumed office as OVCCA’s new AVC, effective 7 June 2016. Dr. Visco had been part of OVCCA as then manager (head) of the Land Grant Management Office (LGMO), when the latter was still under OVCCA. He is a professor of agroforestry at the College of Forestry and Natural Resources (CFNR) and had been the director of the Institute of Agroforestry from 2010 to 2014. (Read more about him here).
Dr. Cesar B. Quicoy assumed office as director of BAO, effective 1 July 2016. He moved to BAO from UHO, where he was former chief from 2014 to 2016. He is an associate professor of agricultural economics at the College of Economics and Management (CEM).
Prof. Zoilo D. Belano Jr., is the new chief of UHO, effective 1 July 2016. He served as head of the Student Organizations and Activities Division of the Office of Student Affairs (SOAD-OSA) from SY 2014-2015. He is an assistant professor of political science at the Department of Social Sciences-College of Arts and Sciences (DSS-CAS). (Miguel Victor T. Durian)
